Thermal Insulation Board Plaster
Thermal Insulation Board Plaster: Combines insulation and plaster for efficient heat retention and improved indoor comfort.
- Product Detail
It is a cement-based, easily applicable, thermal insulation board plaster, the structure of which is reinforced with polymer additives.
- Usage Areas
Warm thermal insulation board plaster; It is used as a surface plaster on thermal insulation boards such as XPS, EPS, Platinum and Mineral wool in all buildings, indoors and outdoors.
- Product Advantages
- It shows high adherence on thermal insulation boards thanks to the special additives it contains.
- It prevents condensation with its high water vapor permeability and allows the system to breathe.
- High performance, does not crack due to fiber additive.

- Application Surfaces
Indoor and Outdoor Wall;
- XPS
- EPS
- Platinum
- Rockwool
Application Procedure
- Surface Preparation
- The surface must be dry, clean, sound and free of dust, oil, dirt or materials that prevent adhesion must be cleaned from the surface, and materials such as mortar and cement residues must be scraped.
- When used as a correction plaster, surface defects with a depth of more than 1 cm should be repaired 24 hours before the application. Depending on the condition of the surface, Warm Mortar or Warm Repair Mortar should be used.
- Application Methods
- Warm thermal insulation board plaster should be applied to all surfaces in equal thickness with the help of a steel trowel.
- Reinforcement Net; After the first layer of Warm Board Plaster is applied, before the plaster mortar dries, it should be placed from top to bottom by stretching it well and pressing lightly, without folding.
- In order to prevent cracks, 10 cm overlapping should be applied from the junction points of the Reinforcement Mesh. In case of using profile without mesh at the corners, the reinforcement mesh should be rotated minimum 20 cm.
- After waiting for the first layer of mesh plaster to shed its water slightly, the second layer of plaster should be applied.
- At least 7 days after the second coat of plaster application, the surface will be ready for the final coat applications.
- Application Suggestions
- For better quality results and higher efficiency, plaster profiles should be used at the corners.
- The product should be used within the pot life after mixing. Products that have expired during the application should never be used.
- No foreign materials such as lime, cement, plaster should be added to the prepared mortar.
- Extra water should not be added to the mixture.
- Application should not be made on unstable surfaces. The durability and bearing of the old surfaces should be checked before the application process.
- During and after the application, the surface should be protected from air currents and contact with water should be prevented.
- It should not be applied on surfaces where there is danger of frost within 24 hours, frozen or melting frost.
- Care should be taken not to expose the material to direct sunlight in hot weather and the mixture should be made with cold water.
- Application should not be made on extremely windy or hot surfaces exposed to direct sun.
- Application should not be made in rainy weather, the application surface should be protected from rain for 24 hours.
- Surface and Ambient Temperature
During application, the surface and ambient temperature should be between 5˚C and 30˚C.
- Application Limits
Usage time of the prepared mortar
− Pot life Maximum 1 hour
The time required for doweling on the pasted insulation board is 24 hours.
These values are in laboratory conditions; It was obtained as a result of experiments carried out in 23 ± 2˚C and 50% ± 5% relative humidity environment. The values given in the table may differ depending on the surface and ambient conditions.
